LOW ALUMINA CONTENT BRICKS (LAC)
FONTES REFRACTORIES has a range of low alumina content bricks. These products have an Al2O3 content of between 32 and 43%, depending on customer requirements, and contain more aluminium oxide than ordinary BRO HQB bricks. They have numerous applications in various industrial sectors such as iron and steel industries, glassmaking and cement making.

ACID-RESISTANT BRICKS
FONTES REFRACTORIES also develops acid-resistant bricks that meet categories 2A and 3B of the ISO standard.
These products are suitable for the production of sulphur pits, ash collection hoppers and all applications that do not require temperatures greater than 1,100°C or mechanical resistance greater than 60 MPa.
